Estimates v. Consultations
Figuring out the next best steps after a collision can feel overwhelming. That’s why we offer free consultations that go beyond industry norms, giving you the information you need to make an informed decision.
Background:
The collision industry still primarily operates on a business model that hasn’t changed much since Henry Ford introduced the Model T. However, vehicles – and the repairs they require - have evolved drastically, especially in the last five years. The traditional body shop “parking lot estimate” typically doesn’t scratch the surface of what is necessary to return a vehicle to pre-damaged condition, not to mention what is involved with insurance reimbursement.
Our solution:
Rather than briefly looking at your vehicle and then clicking on a computer for a few minutes to hand you an inaccurate estimate with little to no guidance.
We would rather spend this time giving you a complete picture of the necessary repairs and the next best steps. We do all consultations by appointment and schedule up to 45 minutes for each one.
What you can expect:
During this time, we’ll review visible damage and consider any underlying issues. We'll outline the repair process and give an estimated price threshold. We’ll discuss our repair standards, parts options and more. Once we’ve assessed the damage and necessary repairs, we’ll go over payment options or whether to pursue insurance reimbursement. If insurance reimbursement is involved, we’ll provide insight into that company's claims process.
Our goal is for you to leave with a clear understanding of what is necessary to return your vehicle to pre-damaged condition and what the next steps are.

“That all sounds great, but I just need an estimate and not worried about all the other stuff”:
We understand that our approach may not be for everyone. However, the consultation process is the foundation for us to provide the level of service we strive for. We can provide traditional estimates, but please note that we may charge a deposit, which will be applied toward the cot of repairs. The deposit amount will depend on the time required to prepare the estimate.
